The festival is organized by the Women's Religious Schools Division of the Al-Kafeel Schools, affiliated with the Office of the Senior Official for Women's Affairs at the Holy Shrine, under the slogan (Fatima az-Zahra -peace be upon her- the Two Lights: Prophethood and Imamate), and under the title (Fatima Al-Zahra -peace be upon her- Building Awareness and Reviving Values).
The closing ceremony, held at the Al-Siddiqa Al-Tahira Center (peace be upon her) affiliated with the holy shrine, was attended by the Secretary-General of the holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, along with several of its officials, as well as researchers and women's delegations from Lebanon, Tunisia, Iran, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Germany, the UAE, Palestine, in addition to Iraq.
The events began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reciter Ammar Al-Hilli and the reciter Soumaya Hajj Ali, followed by a speech from the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine delivered by board member Mr. Afdhal Al-Shami. Then, the speech from the participating delegations was delivered by Dr. Janan Mahdi Mohammed, and finally, the scientific committee's speech and recommendations were delivered by Dr. Wafa Abbas Fayyad.
The events included the recitation of several poems with the participation of poet Mohammed Al-Yasiri and poetess Maiad Al-Talqani, the announcement of the winners of the festival's research competition, as well as a segment honoring the participants and contributors to the success of its activities.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine aims, through the festival, to spread the noble meanings from the life of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), encourage female researchers to shed light on her blessed personality, and enrich the scientific library with research outputs that focus on the thoughts of the Lady of the Worlds (peace be upon her).
