The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine receives a delegation of lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) from USA

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine received a delegation of lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) coming from the city of Los Angeles in the United States of America.

The meeting was attended by the director of the Senior Official's office, Mr. Jawad Al-Hasnawi, the representative of the holy shrine in USA; Sheikh Muhammad Al-Salami, in addition to the head of the religious affairs department; Sheik Salah Al-Karbalaei.

Sheik Salah al-Karbalaei explained that "coordination was made with the Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) Mosque in Los Angeles to organize this visit, clarifying that "the meeting comes in implementation of the directives of His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, to receive visitors, strengthen ties with them, and support their religious and cultural activities."

He added that "this type of communication contributes to supporting the lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) residing in the United States, and they benefited from the holy shrine's guidance last year by launching a service procession project during the Arbaeen pilgrimage, which was participated in by residents of Los Angeles and several nearby cities," noting that "the delegation included 46 visitors."

For his part, one of the delegation members, Mr. Ali Al-Aryan, confirmed that "the delegation's tour aims to visit the holy shrines in Iraq and to review the development and reconstruction projects taking place at the holy shrines, expressing his gratitude to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for the warm reception and generous hospitality."

Al-Aryan expressed his hope for its repetition in the future and working on organizing special programs to host expatriate youth to benefit from the religious and cultural programs offered by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
