The Ministry of Planning grants the Central Laboratory for Scientific Research at Al-Ameed University the ISO certificate

The Central Laboratory for Scientific and Consulting Research at Al-Ameed University obtained the ISO certificate from the Iraqi Ministry of Planning.

The international ISO accreditation certificate according to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard was issued by the Iraqi Accreditation System (IQAS) under the Ministry of Planning, in the field of food material testing, after meeting the approved technical and administrative requirements.

This accreditation comes as a result of the efforts made by the university administration and the technical and scientific staff in the laboratory, particularly in developing laboratory infrastructure, adopting quality management systems, and applying internationally recognized scientific standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results.

This achievement reflects Al-Ameed University's commitment to applying international standards of quality and technical efficiency, and contributes to enhancing trust in the laboratory's scientific outputs, in addition to supporting its role in serving the community and providing accredited laboratory tests according to the highest global standards.

The central laboratory for scientific research and consultancy at the university offers tests in chemistry, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, nanotechnology, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, environmental impact consultancy, economic feasibility studies, water and soil tests, petrochemicals, as well as technical consultancy for environmental surveys and research programs related to the oil and gas sectors.
