The conference is organized by the Sheik Al-Tusi Center for Studies and Research, affiliated with the Supreme Authority for Heritage Revival, in collaboration with the Manuscript Imaging and Cataloging Center, affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Holy Shrine, and will last for two days.
The inauguration events were attended by the Senior Official of the holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, several of its officials, as well as religious and academic figures.
The activities commenced with a beautiful recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Mr. Abbas Al-Moussawi, followed by a speech from the Senior Official of the holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi. This was followed by a speech from the Sheik Al-Tusi Center delivered by Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Safi, and then a documentary film about Sayed al-Mujahid; Sayed Muhammad bin Ali Al-Tabatabai (1180 - 1242 AH) was screened.
The conference activities included a research session chaired by Dr. Sheik Hussam Al-Obeidi, during which three research papers were discussed. The first paper, titled "Three Issues of Rijal from the Means of Usul by Sayed Al-Mujahid," was presented by Sheik Ali Saadoun Al-Ghazi from the Hawza in Najaf Ashraf. The second paper, titled "The Authority of Induction According to Sayed Al-Mujahid - A Critical Perspective," was presented by Sheik Hassan Khashish Al-Amili from the Hawza in Lebanon. The third paper, titled "The Rule of Leaving Inquiry," was presented by Sheik Ali Wafi Badri.
The activities also included the unveiling of my encyclopedias (Al-Manahil) and (Sayed Al-Mujahid and His Scientific Heritage), along with honoring the researchers who participated in the research session.
The conference aims to commemorate the memory of Sayed Muhammad bin Ali bin Muhammad Ali al-Tabatabai al-Haeri, known as Sayyid al-Mujahid, to recall his intellectual journey, and to shed light on his scientific legacy.
