Military college students take their graduation oath at the shrine of Aba al-Fadl (peace be upon him)

The students of the Fourth Military College, Batch 89, took their graduation oath at the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by the officials of the holy shrine, several department heads, the students' families, and visitors of the holy shrine.

The commander of the Abbas Division, Mr. Maytham Al-Zaydi, said: "The General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has been keen on holding such blessed ceremonies," explaining that "the ceremonies included visiting the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), taking the oath in front of his holy shrine, and concluded with hosting the graduating students for a blessed lunch."

He added that "the ceremony celebrated the promotion of the officers of the Abbas Division (peace be upon him) for the 85th and 86th courses, as they were granted double promotions due to their academic qualifications."

Hundreds of graduates from military colleges and Iraqi universities of various types and specializations annually recite the graduation oath in the sacred precincts of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
