The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concludes its participation in providing services to the visitors of the city of Kadhemiyah

The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concluded its participation in providing various services to the visitors of the shrine of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) in the city of Kadhemiyah on the anniversary of his martyrdom.

The head of the delegation, Mr. Khalil Mahdi Hanoun, said: "The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has concluded its participation in providing various services to the visitors of the shrine of Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) on the occasion of the anniversary of his painful martyrdom."

He added, "During its participation in commemorating the painful anniversary, the procession provided more than 200,000 main and side meals for the visitors at two locations: the first on Saheb Al-Zaman Street (may God hasten his holy reappearance), and the second on Bab Al-Murad Street."

He explained that "the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine contributed to supporting the service effort by providing specialized vehicles for waste collection, offering healthcare to visitors, and participating in organizing the smooth flow of mourners, in coordination with the relevant authorities in the city of Kadhemiyah."

For her part, the head of the Medical Affairs Department at the holy shrine, Dr. Haifa Al-Tamimi, said: "The department provided its medical, health, and therapeutic services to the visitors arriving in the holy city of Kadhemiyah to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him). The number of beneficiaries exceeded 29,000 visitors, with more than 15,000 cases for women and more than 14,000 cases for men. Meanwhile, 75 cases of hospitalization for both genders were recorded in the wards of the medical units, along with three cases referred to hospitals."

On another note, the supervisor of the Abbas (peace be upon him) Division's procession, Mr. Hashem Nouri, pointed out that "the Division's special service procession provided its services at a rate of 15,000 main and supplementary meals daily to the mourners on this sorrowful occasion, while the number reached over 20,000 meals daily at the peak of the Ziyarat." Pointing out that "the division prepared a special oven for producing bread during the days of the Ziyarat, as it produced about 20,000 pieces daily."
