The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launches its cultural competition in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the auspicious anniversary competition for the birth of Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him).

The names of the ten winners will be announced through the platforms of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine on Thursday, January 29, 2026, corresponding to the ninth of the month of Sha'ban.

It is a condition for receiving the prize that the winner must personally attend the celebration dedicated to the blessed birth anniversary, which will be held on Friday, 10th of Sha'ban 1447 AH, corresponding to 30/1/2026 AD, at 6:30 PM after the Maghrib and Isha prayers at the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

In case the winner is unable to attend the celebration, they can visit the Financial Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine within a maximum period of two weeks from the date of the announcement of the results, bringing with them the original identification documents (national ID or passport) for the purpose of receiving the prize.
