The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the Service Day activities for its staff, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The events were held in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the presence of the Secretary-General of the holy shrine, Mr. Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, and his deputy, Mr. Abbas Musa Ahmad, along with several members of its Board of Directors, department heads, and officials.

The events began with a fragrant recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the reader of the holy shrine; Sayed Haidar Gelokhani. This was followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. Then, the Secretary-General; Sayed Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that serving in the presence of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is not merely an administrative responsibility, but a moral and religious duty, a daily test of conscience, and an honor in this world and a high status in the hereafter.

The activities of Service Day included a poetic segment to commemorate the noble biography of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) on the occasion of his birth anniversary, presented by the poet Mohammad al-Fatimi, and the recitation of the Ziyarat of the blessed occasion by the reciter Sayed Ali Mamitha, alongside the performance of the devotional practice.

The service day activities conclude in the Imam Al-Hasan (peace be upon him) hall within the holy shrine with the honoring of the families of the deceased employes during the year 2025, in recognition of their sacrifices and appreciation for their service journey. Additionally, outstanding staff members will be honored for their efforts and qualitative contributions in providing services, and the best three departments and sites that prepared quarterly or annual reports during the year 2025 will be recognized for their excellence in performance and institutional documentation.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is keen on honoring its distinguished staff and the families of deceased employes; affirming its approach based on instilling a culture of loyalty and giving, and motivating the working staff to continue their responsible institutional performance in serving visitors and the community.
