On the sidelines of its participation in the national competition of the Holy Quran in its 38th edition held in the city of Kermanshah in Iran, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine paid tribute to the families of the Quran Iranian readers who were victims of the stampede of pilgrims in Mina during the last pilgrimage season.
The supervisory committee of this competition has put within its program an event to pay tribute to Hassan Danesh, Mohsen Haji Hasani Gargar, Ameen Baqi, Mohammed Saeed Saeedi Zadeh and Fuad Mash'ali.
The Director of the Holy Quran Institute at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sheikh Jawad Al-Nasrawi stated: "The tribute came in recognition from the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine of Quranic services of this group of readers during their lives on one side, on the other side it is to create a state of Quranic communication between the Institute of the Holy Quran and the international skilled readers, who have participated in the local and international forums. The event included the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran by the reader Sayed. Hasanein Al-Hilo; Director of the center of Quran readers and memorisers' preparation, which was dedicated to their pure souls."
The families of the readers have appreciated this initiative taken by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, showing their thanks and gratitude to the shrine and its officials, considering this tribute as coming from the bearer of the banner of Al-Hussayn; Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
