Al-Ameed Association holds its first preparatory meeting for the International Conference on the Thought of Imam Al-Hasan (peace be upon him)

The Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association held the first preparatory meeting with the Supreme Authority of the Al-Hillah Project, the City of Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).

The meeting was held to discuss the preparations for the 13th Annual International Scientific Conference on the Thought of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).

The president of the association, Dr. Sarhan Jafaat, said that the meeting discussed the preparations for the conference, the possibility of holding it in English alongside Arabic, and the mechanism for inviting researchers and participants from inside and outside Iraq, with the aim of expanding the scope of scientific participation and opening up to global academic experiences.

He added that "the meeting addressed the adoption of a clear methodology for selecting the conference title and its scientific axes, as well as distributing roles and tasks among the concerned parties, with these detailed files to be completed in the upcoming preparatory meetings, ensuring its presentation in a scientifically sound manner befitting the status of Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him)."

Jafaat explained that "the meeting comes as part of the early efforts made by the association and its supporting entities to ensure the optimal preparation for the conference; in order to showcase the thought of Imam al-Hasan (peace be upon him) as a reformist and humanitarian approach that transcends time and space, and to enhance the presence of a rigorous scientific discourse in addressing contemporary intellectual and epistemological issues."
