A delegation from the Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine followed the stages of establishing the Askariyayn Holy Shrine Museum.
This came during the delegation's visit to the Askariyayn holy shrine and its meeting with its Secretary-General, Dr. Nafi Al-Khazai, to discuss the details of the museum display hall, the stages of documentation, storage, and exhibition, as well as to evaluate the level of technical and organizational readiness of the museum.
The assistant head of the department, Dr. Shawqi Al-Moussawi, said: "The visit aims to directly observe the stages of establishing the museum and to create an initial plan for distributing the exhibition displays and organizing the display of heritage pieces, dividing them among the halls, ensuring a comprehensive cultural and educational experience for visitors."
He added that "the visit is part of the ongoing efforts of the Al-Kafeel Museum to exchange expertise and information with various museums and to keep up with the latest developments in the field of museum display, contributing to the advancement of museum work on both artistic and organizational levels."
The Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts is keen on supporting the museums of the holy shrines and enhancing cultural and intellectual cooperation; to contribute to preserving heritage and transferring museum experiences and expertise in a way that serves the visitor and the community.
