The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organizes its central celebration for the birth anniversary of Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organized its annual central celebration commemorating the birth anniversary of Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him).

The ceremony, which was held in the courtyard of the Bab al-Qibla of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), was attended by members of the holy shrine's board of directors, Mr. Mohammad al-Ashigar and Dr. Afdal al-Shami, along with several of its officials, religious figures, and a large number of visitors who gathered to celebrate this occasion.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a lecture delivered by Sheikh Zaman Al-Hasnawi, who started by extending congratulations to the attendees and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Ali Al-Akbar (peace be upon him).

Al-Hasnawi touched upon the most recommended deeds in the holy month of Sha'ban during his lecture, as well as aspects of the noble biography of Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him).

The ceremony included various segments, such as poetry recitations, religious hymns specific to the blessed occasion, and concluded with the honoring of the winners of the electronic cultural competition organized for the occasion by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is keen on organizing cultural and awareness activities during the special occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), believing in the role of these activities in enhancing the religious culture among the visitors.
