The central celebration of the birth anniversary of Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him) features a lecture on his noble biography

The central annual celebration organized by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to commemorate the birth anniversary of Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him) included a lecture on his noble biography delivered by Sheikh Zaman al-Hasnawi.

The celebration was held in the courtyard of the Bab al-Qibla of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in the presence of members of the Board of Directors of the holy shrine, Mr. Muhammad al-Ashigar and Dr. Afdhal al-Shami, along with several of its officials, religious figures, and a large gathering of visitors who came to commemorate this occasion.

Sheikh Al-Hasnawi congratulated the attendees on the auspicious birth anniversary of Ali Al-Akbar (peace be upon him), and discussed aspects of his biography and life in the house of Prophethood and the message, recalling his immortal stances in supporting his father Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in Karbala.

He touched upon the devotional acts specific to reviving the days and nights of the blessed month of Sha'ban, and their importance in nurturing the soul and building the Muslim character.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is keen on organizing cultural and educational events on occasions related to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), believing in the role of these events in enhancing religious culture among the visitors.
