The Scientific Academy commemorates the Sha'ban birth anniversaries in Baghdad

The Scientific Academy of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine commemorated the blessed Sha'ban birth anniversaries by organizing a Quranic gathering in the capital, Baghdad.

The ceremony was organized by the Quranic Institute in Baghdad, affiliated with the Assembly, in collaboration with the Abbas Al-Tamimi Mosque and Hussainiya, in the presence of a gathering of believers.

The event began with blessed recitations of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Haidar Gelokhani, followed by a religious lecture by the professor at the Hawza; Sayed Rashid Al-Husseini, who reviewed the themes of the Sha'ban birth anniversaries and their impact on instilling faith and moral values in society.

The director of the institute, Mr. Nabil Al-Saadi, said: "The establishment of the gathering is part of a series of events that the institute is keen to implement; with the aim of reviving religious occasions and spreading the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in society."

This activity comes as part of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine's efforts to strengthen the connection with the two weighty things, the Holy Quran and the pure progeny of the Prophet's family (peace be upon them).
