The Public Relations Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine discussed with the Ministry of Education's representative office in Sulaymaniyah Governorate the preparations for holding the festival of the age of religious obligation for female students.
This came during a meeting between a delegation from the department and the director of the provincial education department, Mr. Imad Tarek Omar, to discuss the special preparations for the festival.
The festival will be organized by the University and School Relations Division of the department, as part of the "Al-Kafeel National Boy Scouts" project, with the participation of 500 female students from the governorate.
The head of the school activities unit in the department, Mr. Hussein Naeem, said that "the meeting was dedicated to following up on the requirements for holding the festival and ensuring the achievement of its educational and cultural objectives."
He added that "the festival is part of a series of activities carried out by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in cooperation with the General Directorates of Education in the Iraqi provinces, to instill the values of modesty and purity and to promote adherence to the Islamic hijab."
