To review the restoration work on its grids... The Grid Manufacturing Department receives a delegation from the Askariyayn Holy Shrine

The Department of Manufacturing Holy Shrines Grids and Doors at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine received a delegation from the Askariyayn Holy Shrine to review the restoration work on its grids.

The head of the Self-Management Unit in the Administrative Division of the department, Mr. Ahmed Qais Al-Saffar, said, "We received a delegation from the Askariyayn Holy Shrine to review the restoration work on its grids, which include the old grid of the shrine of the two Imams al-Hadi and al-Askari (peace be upon them), which has an age of approximately 325 years, the previous grid that was subjected to a criminal bombing in 2006, as well as the grid of the sacred basement of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), which is about 840 years old."

He added, "The delegation handed over some missing pieces of the shrine's grids to the technical staff in the department in order to complete the restoration work definitively."

For his part, the head of the museum unit at the Askariyayn Holy Shrine, Mr. Zain Al-Abidin Al-Hamdani, explained that "the technical staff in the Grid-Manufacturing department have made significant progress in the restoration of the three grids, as part of the cooperation agreement concluded between the two holy shrines."
