The Religious Authority confirms in all its sermon its support of the military and security forces from the army, police and volunteers in all their grades including the sons of the Iraqi tribes.
And in the second sermon of Friday prayer of the 13th Rabi' Al-Awwal 1437 AH corresponding to the 25th of December, 2015, which was held in the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and led by Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, it also spoke about the restoration of the occupied lands and returning the displaced to them, saying:
"It is certain that restoring all the lands captured by the terrorist gangs of ISIL, the reconstruction of their residential areas and returning the displaced people to their homes, must be a major priority for everyone, at the forefront the decision-makers in the Iraqi state."
Adding: "And today, these heroes are waging fierce battles to liberate the rest of the city of Ramadi, as they face an oppressing enemy who does not take into account the minimum ethical rules in its war with them, as he prevent the families and innocent civilians to go out of the city, and take them as human shields to protect himself, which complicates the mission of the forces entrusted to liberate the city.
And we stress on our dear fighters to take all possible measures to ward off any harm from the innocent people, by protecting them from the risks they face. And we raise our hands for praying the Almighty God to bless our hero troops with the victory and to grant mercy upon their martyrs and the wellness for their wounded."
