The Maintaining Order Department outlines the details of its security and organizational plan for the Ziyarat on the 15th of Sha'ban

The Maintaining Order Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine clarified the details of its security and organizational plan for the Ziyarat on the 15th of Sha'ban.

The assistant head of the department, Mr. Reda Naji Al-Amiri, said, "The department held a meeting to discuss the preparations for the Ziyarat of the mid of Sha'ban, the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), in addition to coordinating with the Department between the two holy shrines and the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine, to ensure the smooth entry and exit of visitors."

He added that "the plans included organizing the paths for visitors starting from the Bab al-Qibla to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), reaching to Maytham al-Tammar Street and the Al-Kafeel checkpoint in the Bab Baghdad area, with the distribution of inspection devices (Rapiscan), and vehicles (XBL and ZBV) at the main entrances, in addition to deploying ID recognition devices at intermediate points to avoid any security breach."

He confirmed that "the coverage of the city by security forces reached 100%, with the department's personnel fully present in the area, in addition to implementing organized and smooth round-trip movement plans for visitors."

Al-Amiri pointed out that "the devices operate with radiological inspection technologies, and include vehicles, carts for transporting visitors' luggage, patients, and people with special needs, in addition to visitors' bags, with a ban on the entry of any materials or goods into the area without undergoing inspection."
