The Intellectual Affairs Department presents wreaths of flowers to visitors on the occasion of the birth of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance)

The staff of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine welcomed the visitors with flowers and sweets in celebration of the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).

The assistant director of the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Center affiliated with the department, Mr. Ali Abdul Wahab, said: "The center's staff welcomed the visitors with flowers and sweets, in addition to distributing cards bearing the supplication for the relief of the Master of the Order and Time (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance)."

He added that the distribution included 1,192 roses, equal to the number of years of the Imam's (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) life, with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to the visitors.

The crowds of visitors from inside and outside Iraq celebrate the 15th of Sha'ban at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them). In turn, the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has mobilized its staff to provide the best services to the visitors.
