The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participates in the inauguration of the Kadhemayn Museum (peace be upon them)

A delegation from the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon them) Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts at the Kadhemiyah Holy Shrine.

The inauguration was attended by the advisor to the Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Mr. Talal Al-Bair, the head of the Kafeel Museum of Precious Items and Manuscripts, Mr. Nafeh Al-Moussawi, and his assistant, Dr. Shawqi Al-Moussawi, along with the director of the Fadl Center for Manuscript Heritage and Documentary Archive, Mr. Laith Lotfi.

Mr. Nafe' Al-Moussawi delivered a speech on behalf of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in which he affirmed that the inauguration of this cultural edifice represents a qualitative addition in the field of preserving religious and Islamic heritage. He highlighted the pivotal role of the holy shrines in safeguarding history and documenting the civilizational identity for future generations. He pointed out that this step reflects a clear vision to enhance cooperation among the holy shrines in preserving treasures, manuscripts, and heritage artifacts, and to unify efforts and expertise according to the highest scientific standards in preservation and display.

For his part, the assistant head of the department, Dr. Shawqi Al-Mousawi, explained that: participation in the opening of the Kadhemiyah Holy Shrine Museum confirms the importance of this project and its anticipated presence among heritage institutions, noting that: museum cooperation enjoys direct care and guidance from the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, who continuously emphasizes the necessity of preserving heritage and spreading the culture derived from the authentic Islamic legacy.

For his part, the director of the Kadhemiyah Center for Heritage Revival, Sheikh Imad Al-Kadhemi, stated that the participation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine's delegation in this cultural event reflects the deep relationships and fruitful cooperation between the two holy shrines, affirming that the museum will contribute to serving researchers and those interested in the historical and cultural heritage.

This participation comes as part of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine's approach to supporting museum and cultural projects, and enhancing its presence in national initiatives aimed at preserving Islamic and human heritage.
