The Supreme Authority for Heritage Revival organizes a tour of heritage centers for an academic delegation from Canada

The Higher Committee for Heritage Revival at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organized a tour of heritage centers for an academic delegation from the University of Toronto in Canada.

The administrative assistant to the head of the authority, Mr. Hussein Al-Shaibani, said that "the tour included a visit to the library and manuscript house of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, the Fadl Center for the maintenance and preservation of manuscript heritage and documentary archives, in addition to the Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) Center for Manuscript Restoration affiliated with the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine."

He added that "the delegation, during the tour, was introduced to a collection of precious manuscripts housed in the library of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, covering various sciences, in addition to manuscripts of the Holy Qur'an and several important heritage artifacts, which impressed the visiting delegation."

For his part, Dr. Sheikh Vinay Kitani from the delegation said that their tour included viewing ancient and precious manuscripts of high scientific value, expressing his gratitude to the administration of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for their generous hospitality and warm reception.

The delegation will participate in the Sheikh Al-Tusi conference, organized by the Supreme Authority, on the occasion of the thousandth anniversary of the establishment of the Najaf Ashraf Hawza. This event is part of a comprehensive scientific and cultural program adopted by the holy shrine to commemorate this anniversary through a series of conferences, seminars, and scientific projects aimed at highlighting the scientific legacy of Sheikh Al-Tusi in particular.
