The new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is at advanced stages by the end of its door's works..

The manufacturing works of the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) have reached advanced stages as most of the parts were manufactured and installed on the wooden structure, put in one of the halls of the factory of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of holy shrines' grids. As once any part is manufactured it is installed directly on the structure according to the location of each piece after coding them in order to be dismantled before transferring the grid to its new place then installing each piece according to their numbers. The progress in works and achievement ratios has been achieved through the concerted efforts of the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), who excelled and worked day and night in order to complete this piece of art according to the specifications that will make it a model and a technical masterpiece worthy of the owner of this shrine' Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
One of those important parts is the door of the new grid, which complements the pieces of the holy grid and one of its beautiful artistic parts, has been completed forming one of the knotworks of the grid (Duhna) but without balls or handles as in the rest of tracery that surround the holy grid.
The doors consists of two pieces (two Tallaqat), separated by a silver column, the width of each piece is 51 cm, height of 11cm and thickness of 7cm, weighing 60 kg each. The amount of the used gold in it is 25kg in addition to 70 kg silver. It is manufactured out of stainless Steel padded inside by the ornate wood and in the exterior it is covered by pure silver blended 2% with gold, with the same inscriptions and writings in the current door of the holy grid.
The two parts of the door are mobile and linked to each other by side columns on moving bases (Nirmada) to be able to easily open and close it. On top of the door there is a golden triangle in the middle of which is inscribed the following verse (وَفَضَّلَ اللّهُ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا) {..God has exalted in rank those who strive with their wealth and their persons over those who sit still. To each God has promised the best reward..} (4:95) and in the bottom two golden bands on which the name of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the year of manufacture was written, underlying on a silver band in which was written in gold (اُدْخُلُوْهَا بِسَلَامٍ آمِنِيْنَ) { "Enter you here in peace, perfectly secure!"} (15:46).
