The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concluded the activities of the second international scientific forum on the intellectual and methodological characteristics of the Al-Hillah Usuli School.

The forum was organized by the Hillah Heritage Center, affiliated with the Department of Islamic and Human Sciences at the Holy Shrine, in collaboration with the Center for Quranic and Hadith Studies, the Union of Theologians in the Hawza in the Holy City of Qom, and the Imam Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) University for Islamic Sciences, Babylon Departments.

The events featured a speech from the Department of Knowledge Affairs delivered by Sheikh Sadiq Al-Khoei, alongside a speech from the Imam Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) College delivered by the assistant dean, Dr. Qusay Al-Izzawi, and a speech from the Center for Quranic and Hadith Studies in Qom delivered by the assistant director of the center, Mr. Ali Al-Husseini.

The events included the holding of two research sessions. The first session discussed several studies, including: the history of Usul al-Fiqh and the contribution of the Al-Hillah Usuli School to its integration and methodological development, by Dr. Asim Hakim Al-Jubouri; the impact of reason on juristic inference, with Ibn Idris (d. 598 AH) as a model, by researcher Ayoub Nasser Ni'mah; and the authority of the linguist's statement and its impact on inference, a methodological comparison between Al-Allamah Al-Hilli and Sayed Al-Khoei, by Dr. Ali Sahib Al-Jassani.

The second session also discussed a set of research papers, including "Ethical Foundations in the Ijtihads of the Al-Hillah Usuli School" by researcher Muhammad Baqir Mirsa'ani, "Obstacles to Applying the Usuli Ijtihad Theory of the Al-Hillah School in the Era of Economic Globalization and Social Change" by Dr. Ibtisam Sabri Younis, and "Crisis Management and the Use of Soft Power in Religious Institutions: An Analytical Study of the Strategy of the Al-Hillah School (656-726 AH)" by Professor Mahdi Hossein Pour.

The events were accompanied by the opening of two exhibitions of books and photographs depicting clerical figures and scholars from the city of Hilla, along with a display of a collection of heritage manuscripts that reflect the city's deep scientific and historical presence.

The forum concluded with the honoring of the participants, researchers, and contributors who made its events successful.
