The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds the Mohammadian Moons Festival at Wasit University

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held the Mohammadian Moons Festival in celebration of the Sha'banian birth anniversaries at the College of Pure Education Sciences at Wasit University.

The festival was organized by the University and School Relations Division of the Public Relations Department at the holy shrine, as part of the National Al-Kafeel Youth Project, in collaboration with Wasit University.

The festival began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine, delivered by Mr. Hassan Ali Al-Jawadi, in addition to a lecture that addressed the concept of connection with Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).

Al-Jawadi said that the lecture addressed the true meaning of waiting and the importance of the human connection with Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), and the necessity for students to be aware of this belief in facing contemporary challenges. He pointed out that the festival also included the recitation of poems and hymns celebrating the blessed birth anniversaries.

For his part, the university president, Dr. Abbas Lutfah, confirmed that these activities are part of joint programs between the holy shrine and the university to enhance the cultural and moral level among students. He pointed out that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is keen on strengthening the bonds of cooperation with the holy shrines, due to their significant impact on students, especially in countering the negative influences of social media and promoting ethical values within the university community.
