The Supreme Religious Authority severely condemned the execution of Sheikh Nimr

The Supreme Religious Authority Sayed. Ali Al-Hussayni Al-Sistani issued a statement to people of Qatif in Saudi Arabia in which he condemned the execution of Sheikh Nimr and expressed his condolences for his martyrdom.
In his condolnece message sent to the people of Qatif, Sayed Al-Sistani said:
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful.
"To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return"
Dear people of Qatif
Peace be upon you, God's mercy and blessings be upon you.
With great sadness and sorrow we heard the news of the martyrdom of believing brothers including the late Sheikh Nimr in Qatif in Arabia whose pure bloods were spilt through oppression and aggression.
So we severely condemn this act and express our condolences to all the believers especially the families of these martyrs and we sympathize with them. We pray to the Almighty God to grant them peace and mercy as well as placing them with Divine saints and we ask for their families to be granted patience and peace.
