The Department of Industries and Fine Crafts affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has completed the preparations for the platforms of the eighth religious maturity ceremony at the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) complex.
The department is organizing the ceremony in collaboration with the Karbala Education Directorate, as part of the eighth edition of the Fatima Flowers project, under the slogan: "From the path of Zahra, my hijab, and by Zainab, my role model," with the participation of more than 6,000 female students from the province's schools, on the 16th and 17th of this February.
The assistant head of the department, Engineer Ammar Salah Mahdi, said that the department's staff have completed the preparations for the main platform for the eighth annual religious maturity ceremony at the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) complex, which is affiliated with the holy shrine. The platform was made of weight-resistant iron, covered with wood, carpeted, and equipped with a complete lighting system.
He added that the platform measures 29 meters in length and 6 meters in width, indicating that the department distributed welcome signs for participants and guests at the entrance of the complex, and prepared two platforms dedicated to taking group photos of the students, each measuring 10 meters in length and 3 meters in width.
He explained that the work was part of an organizational plan prepared by the department in advance, in collaboration with various departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to prepare all the requirements for the ceremony.
