Within its program supporting the security forces and the volunteers of the popular mobilization emanating from the directives of the supreme religious authority, because of its great importance in the perpetuation of the battle momentum against the terrorist gangs, a delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine from the Religious Affairs Department, has visited the wounded in the hospital of the city of Medicine and the Teaching hospital of Al-Kadhemiya.
The delegation was headed by Sheikh Adil Al-Wakeel the deputy head of the Department of Religious Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, who stated to Al-Kafeel Network: "The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was engaged in many important matters, and more and more after the terrorist threats against Iraq. So, it established the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad to defend the land of Iraq and its sanctities, and ensured the catering for the rest of the fighting forces. The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has also took the responsibility of visiting the wounded in the hospitals, who are injured in the battles they are waging against the criminal gangs, such this visit."
Adding: "In this visit, our delegation has provided financial assistance to the wounded from the allocated funds to support the volunteers of the popular mobilization deployed inside the holy shrine, in addition to blessing gifts from the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him). The prominent goal of this visit is to give the the moral support, and praying the Almighty to bestow upon them patience and full recovery. We have also listened to their stories, in which they are showing their sacrifices and courage when facing the ISIL gangs, in scenes that will remain bright in the history of Iraq. We have found them having high spirit repeating: Those are our enemies and it is a must to continue fighting them until victory -God willing- and saying: We are proud that we have answered the call of the advisory opinion of the Supreme Religious Authority Sayed. Ali Al-Sistani."
Sheikh Al-Wakeel continued: "Some of those injured have suffered from severe injuries and were in intensive care, so we have met with their families who were having same high spirit and steadfastness. So both the wounded and their families were determined in their answer of the fatwa of the supreme religious authority in the sufficient duty of Jihad for the defence of Iraq and the liberation of its land from the profane terrorism."
The wounded aspire to heal quickly in order to return to the battlefront and participate with their brethren in the honor and dignity battles, thanking the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for this initiative and the care that increase their morale and determination to do more for the sake of Iraq and its people.
