The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concluded its participation in the fourth edition of the Ain Al-Hayat Festival in the capital, Baghdad.
The festival was organized by the Al-Qabas Foundation for Culture and Development in collaboration with the holy shrines (of Imam Ali, Imam al-Hussayn, Imam al-Kadhem and Imam al-Jawad, Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-Askari, and al-Abbas peace be upon them), and a number of intellectual and cultural institutions, at the Baghdad International Fairground.
The participation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in the festival was represented through 18 diverse pavilions, including intellectual and cultural pavilions, showcasing its successful projects and experiences in agriculture, industry, technology, and energy solutions, in addition to displaying more than 760 publications, including encyclopedias, peer-reviewed journals, and heritage, religious, and doctrinal books.
The participation aims to introduce the community to the products of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in addition to exchanging cultures and experiences, staying updated on developments, and addressing challenges by proposing alternatives needed by the Iraqi individual.
The festival included several activities, such as book, photo, drawing, engraving, and Arabic calligraphy exhibitions, in addition to purposeful theatrical performances, and the display of rare items and artifacts from the museums of the holy shrines, as well as a number of other activities that contribute to highlighting the Islamic cultural identity and enhancing the awareness role of religious and social institutions.
