The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine conducted the first phase of the public draw to distribute residential plots in the Qamar City to its members.

The draw events were attended by the senior official of the holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, along with its officials and staff.

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine, Mr. Abbas Mousa Ahmed, said: "The General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has been keen on providing suitable housing for its staff and strives to enable every staff member to obtain a residential house or a plot of land that guaranties stability and security for them and their families."

He added, "Today we conducted the first phase of the lottery for distributing the residential plots in the Qamar City, totaling 8,876 plots. Today, 1,000 plots were distributed as the first phase, and the distribution will continue at a rate of 250 plots every two days, under the supervision of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine administration."

He explained that the city contains integrated infrastructure, including sewage networks, rainwater drainage, and electrical systems, and aims to provide a suitable residential environment for the staff of the holy shrine.
