The Supreme Religious Authority finds extremely regrettable that the government did not achieve yet any clear reform

The Supreme Religious Authority is the first to claim the rights of the citizens, calling the politicians to make serious reform to end the suffering of all society segments. In fact, the Supreme religious authority through Friday sermons is constantly showing the appropriate way for immediate reform procedures, which can take the nation to the safety, rationality, guidance and reform, on which it emphasized many times.
But today in the second sermon of Friday prayer of the 27th of Rabi' Al-Awwal 1437 AH corresponding to the 8th of January, 2016, which was held in the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and led by Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, the religious authority expressed its extreme regret to witness timid steps taken by the Iraqi government in the fight against corruption and the prosecution of thieves of public money and the corrupt, ad not achieving the desired social justice through these tinkering solutions that do not achieve any concrete change on the ground.
As it is stated in the sermon:
" Last year and over the past months, we have called in Friday sermons the three authorities and all responsible parties to take serious steps in the process of real reform, realizing social justice, fighting against corruption and prosecuting the big heads of corruption, but a year is elapsed and nothing has been achieved on the ground, which is regrettable. And we won't talk more about it at the present time."
