The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine participates in a scientific symposium at the Tehran International Quran Exhibition

The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participated in the scientific symposium to introduce the Holy Quran of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine, its characteristics, and features at the 33rd International Quran Exhibition in Tehran.

The head of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine delegation, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Tamimi, said: "The delegation participated in the Quranic scientific symposium organized by the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine as part of the activities of the 33rd Tehran International Quran Exhibition, which was dedicated to introducing the Quran of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine and explaining its characteristics and features."

He added that the symposium addressed the use of modern technologies and outlined further steps being taken to enhance the use of modern technology in the fields of Quranic sciences.

For his part, the director of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine pavilion at the exhibition, Mr. Muhammad Baqir Al-Mansour, indicated that the pavilion hosted a scientific seminar to introduce the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine's Quran and explain its characteristics and features.

He explained that this edition of the Holy Quran features a QR code, which allows the reader to instantly access digital copies and interact with them through smart devices, in addition to listening to recitations and interpretations.

The participation comes as part of a series of scientific and cultural activities that the Scientific Complex is keen to engage in both within Iraq and abroad, affirming its role in supporting the knowledge movement and enhancing communication with academic and religious institutions.
