The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to pay tribute to the families of the martyrs of the popular mobilization..

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is still continuing its program to support of the families of the martyrs of the popular mobilization and to visit the wounded, and according to the plan developed by the Department of Religious Affairs at the holy shrine and carried out either directly by the department or in collaboration with the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and with the participation of the charity foundation of Imam As-Sajjad (peace be upon him). This program comes in compliance with the directives of the supreme religious authority that urges on taking care of the martyrs' families of the popular mobilization, who sacrificed their lives to defend the soil of this dear homeland and stood like a bulwark in the face of the terrorist gangs.
This time, the tribute ceremony was held in the province of Baghdad in Sadr City, to nearly 100 martyrs' families, it was attended by a group of the city's residents.
The official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sheikh Adil Al-wakeel from the Department of Religious Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine stated the following:
"We came from the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to get the honor to visit the families of our martyrs in the Sadr City, which presented young heroes who gained the blessing of martyrdom, as they stood on the fronts in the face of the ruthless invaders, who desecrated the land of Iraq. And This city is one of the steadfast cities that presented many martyrs and many sacrifices."
Adding: "The Quranic verses are explicit when speaking about the martyrs for the sake of Allah, { Do not think at all of those killed in God’s cause as dead. Rather, they are alive; with their Lord they have their sustenance} (3:169) so we express our gratitude to all those martyrs who are our honor and pride, and who have left all pleasures of life to defend their land and holy places, so they deserve the status of martyr. Therefore, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has to communicate consistently with the families of the martyrs."
It is to mention that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, based on the guidances of the supreme religious authority to provide the necessary support for the families of th martyrs and the wounded, has prepared and integrated program that includes the organization of successive visits to the wounded and the martyrs' families in all parts of Iraq without exception, in order to communicate with them, filling their needs, give them the necessary care and the suitable tribute. these visits are continuous to visit all the families of the martyrs who were killed for the sake of the defence of the homeland, answering the advisory opinion [fatwa] of the sufficient duty of Jihad for the defence of Iraq and its holy sites.
