The final stages of the lanterns and the lotus flowers that adorn the new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) ..

The completion percentage of the new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) achieved advanced stage, as the pieces are manufactured by the skilled workers in this great project of the servants of the Banner Bearer (peace be upon him), among which the lanterns and the lotus flowers (floral forms) that adorn the top area of the grid, which is similar to the design and form of the current grid, and different in terms of durability, metal kind and product quality, like all other parts of the new grid.
There are 26 lanterns made of copper metal painted with pure gold, each lantern consists of two parts taking together a form of flower, having the cup as a bottom part in a spherical hollow form with 10 cm diameter, while the second part is in form of 8 cm flowers' petals with 15 cm length, the lantern is based on the crescent-shaped base open from the top, the distance between its ends is of 14 cm.
Between every two lanterns a lotus flower of 1 cm, these 30 flowers are made also of copper and gold-plated, and a height of 15 cm from the highest point.
These patterns and shapes were manufactured manually, and the pieces passed through several stages until it reaches its final stages. The manufactured pieces were installed on the wooden structure of the grid, which was erected inside a special place in the factory of the holy shrines' grids of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. A special information tag has been placed on every part, to re-install them after the final completion of the entire project.
