The Medical Affairs Department provides its services to the female visitors of the holy shrines in Karbala

The Medical Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to provide health and therapeutic services to the female visitors of the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in the holy city of Karbala.

The head of the department, Dr. Haifa Al-Tamimi, said: "The medical services provided to the female visitors are offered through the Sayeda As-Siddiqa Al-Tahira (peace be upon her) Medical Center for Women, which includes medical and nursing staff who work around the clock to provide the necessary healthcare for them."

She added that "the center offers a range of comprehensive health services, including initial medical examinations, providing appropriate treatments for various medical conditions, as well as handling emergency cases and providing first aid."

Al-Tamimi explained that "providing these services aims to offer the necessary healthcare for the visitors, and to respond quickly to medical cases, which contributes to maintaining the health of the visitors and enabling them to perform the Ziyarat rituals."

She indicated that "the medical and nursing staff at the center are making continuous efforts to provide healthcare to the visitors, in addition to offering awareness and health guidance, and following up on the medical cases that visit the center."
