Through a mourning assembly.. The Scientific Council commemorates the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) in Karbala

The Scientific Academy of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) through a mourning assembly in the district of Hindiya in Karbala Governorate.

The head of the Holy Quran Institute in Hindiya, affiliated with the Assembly, Mr. Hamid Al-Mar'abi, said: "The institute organized a mourning assembly commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), which included various segments and was attended by a gathering of believers."

He added that "the council began with a Quranic recitation by the reader Muhammad Taqi Al-Husseini, followed by a lecture by Sayed Ali Al-Jazaeri, who reviewed the biography of the Imam (peace be upon him), his scientific approach, and the great intellectual legacy he left behind, which contributed to the building of the authentic Islamic school."

Al-Mar'abi explained that "the council included the recitation of elegies and poems that expressed deep sorrow and grief on this painful occasion, through which the institute aims to instill the values and knowledge of the two noble weights (the Holy Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt-peace be upon them) in society."
