The Health complexes project on the road (Babylon - Karbala) is one of the service projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine..

In such days of the year 2014 -two years ago- the Department of the engineering projects at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the completion of all works at the health complexes project on the road (Babylon - Karbala), which comes within the series of service projects adopted by the holy shrine and which serve the visitors as this road is one of the key axes leading to the holy city of Karbala, especially during the Ziyarat of millions visitors.
The health complexes project was built on area of 1347 m2, consisting of 97 health units, 48 for men and 49 for women, with 12 bathrooms for men and 12 others for women. The inner wall of the complex was covered by a special ceramic, the floors of granite and the doors were of pvc. The health complex includes also special places for ablution, drinking water and washing foot in addition to a medical detachment and administration rooms, all of which were provided by a integrated system of water, electricity, fire extinguishing and warning, with water pumps and a sophisticated system of water and sanitation, linked to Bukhari boiler with the capacity of 5 m3.
It is to mention that the Engineering projects Department at the Al-abbas's (p) holy shrine has carried out and supervised dozens of large projects as well as hundreds of small and medium projects -including this project- inside and outside the holy shrine. Most of these projects were implemented by Iraqi cadres either from the mentioned department of local companies from outside the holy shrine, or rarely with the collaboration with foreign labor companies.
