The Intellectual Affairs Department holds a cultural seminar commemorating the birth anniversary of Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him) in Dhi Qar

The Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a cultural and intellectual seminar on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Musa ar-Redha (peace be upon him) in Dhi Qar Governorate.

The seminar was organized by the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Center affiliated with the department, in collaboration with the Al-Saqi Cultural Gathering and the Quran House in Al-Nasr District, under the title (Imam ar-Redha and the Method of Building Critical Thinking), as part of its programs aimed at instilling intellectual and religious awareness in the community.

The seminar program began with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Haidar Al-Bazouni.

It was followed by a scientific lecture presented by Sheikh Fadel Al-Haidari, in which he reviewed the most prominent features of Imam ar-Redha's (peace be upon him) intellectual approach in building critical thinking and its role in developing awareness and analysis among the faithful individual.

The seminar included knowledge-based axs that focused on the importance of drawing inspiration from the lives of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in facing contemporary intellectual challenges, contributing to the enhancement of authentic values and the establishment of a culture of conscious dialog.

This activity comes as part of the efforts of the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Center, in collaboration with cultural institutions, to revive religious occasions through sound scientific methods and to support the knowledge path aimed at building a more aware and mature society.
