In collaboration with the Supreme Authority for Heritage Revival.. Babylon University holds an introductory seminar for the first Quran and Ahl al-Bayt Conference

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Babylon, in collaboration with the Supreme Authority for Reviving Heritage at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, held an introductory seminar for the first Quran and Ahl al-Bayt Conference.

The conference is held under the auspices of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), organized by the Intellectual Affairs Department at the Miracle of the Sun's Return to the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in collaboration with the Hilla Heritage Center at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the College of Islamic Sciences at Babel University, and the Imam Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) College/ Babel Departments, as part of the Weekly Message Forum.

The head of the office of the Supreme Religious Authority in the city of Hilla and the supervisor of the conference, Mr. Rasool Al-Moussawi, stated that "the introductory seminar for the first conference titled (The Conference on the Quran and the Progeny) was held to highlight the importance of this scientific event," confirming that "the conference has an international character with the participation of researchers from inside and outside Iraq."

He added that "the Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt represent an inseparable methodology, and the conference aims to solidify this concept and call for adherence to it."

Al-Moussawi pointed out that "the conference is held under the patronage of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), which continue to support various service, scientific, and intellectual projects in the city of Hilla."

For his part, the director of the Hilla Heritage Center, Sheikh Sadiq Al-Khoei, confirmed that "the center's participation aims to encourage scholarly pens to write in wide knowledge areas that have not been sufficiently invested in, especially those related to the legacy of Imam Al-Sadeq (peace be upon him) in the fields of jurisprudence, foundational studies, and narration," explaining that "the center's role is to review and refine the research to present it in a credible manner to the public."

For his part, the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Babylon, Dr. Hassan Al-Mamouri, explained that "the seminar highlights the main and sub-topics of the conference, which were addressed by specialized professors, demonstrating their importance and inviting researchers to actively participate."

He added that "the conference will be held as part of the 'Week of the Message' activities, coinciding with the anniversary of the two truthful ones, the Noble Prophet and his grandson Imam Ja'far al-Sadeq (peace be upon them)." He explained that "the attending researchers showed great interest in participating and provided suggestions that contribute to the development of the conference's themes and the enhancement of its scientific outputs."

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is keen on supporting and sponsoring scientific and intellectual activities, and actively participating in them in a way that contributes to the public good, enhances awareness, spreads Islamic sciences, and reinforces its original values.
