The Al-Kafeel Nurseries Group, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, announced the addition of more than two hundred and twenty-five thousand seedlings to its plant inventory since the beginning of this year.
The assistant manager of the nursery group, Mr. Ali Hamza Salem, said: "The staff of the plant propagation unit managed in the first four months of this year to add more than two hundred and twenty-five thousand seedlings to their plant stock as part of their plans aimed at enhancing plant diversity and meeting the needs of the beneficiaries."
He added that "the seedlings added varied between outdoor, seasonal, and fruit-bearing plants, and they were propagated inside greenhouses and shaded areas according to modern agricultural methods."
He explained that "this addition aims to meet the needs of the group's nurseries and the departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and its various sites, in addition to providing them at reasonable prices for families and private nursery owners, as well as for the public and private sectors inside and outside the holy city of Karbala."
The assistant group leader pointed out that "plants are characterized by their ability to adapt to environmental and climatic conditions, while Al-Kafeel nurseries continue to carry out propagation work for the second agricultural season."
