The Supreme Religious Authority has renewed its call to the decision-makers to follow the approach of the Commander of th Faithful (peace be upon him) in the management of the state's affairs and not betray it..

The representative of the supreme religious authority; Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi has shown in the second sermon of Friday's prayer of the 24th Jumada Al-Ula 1437 AH corresponding to the 4th March, 2016 held in the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), parts of the letters of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them) to a number of his governors, to guide them how to deal with people with justice and equity, in a clear sign to the decision-makers, stating:
Dear brothers and sisters, in this sermon we will read paragraphs of letters sent by the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them) to his governors.
Instruction Given to Mohammad ibn Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), when the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) appointed him as the Governor of Egypt: "Behave humbly with the people, keep yourself lenient, meet them large-heartedly, accord them equal treatment so that the big should not expect injustice from you in their favour and the low should not be despondent of your justice to them."
And he (peace be upon him) wrote to Aswad Ibn Qutbah, one of his governors, ordering him to behave justice among people, saying: "Now, if the actions of a governor follow the passions he will be greatly hampered in justice. All the people should be equal in right before you, because injustice cannot be a substitute for justice. Avoid that thing the like of which you would not like for yourself. Exert yourself in what Allah has made obligatory on you, hoping for His reward and fearing His chastisement."
And Imam Ali (peace be upon him) wrote to one of his governors who has betrayed the responsibility given to him and stolen the public funds, saying: "It seems as if you do not want (to please) Allah by your jihad, and as if you do not stand upon a clear sign from your Lord, and as if you have been playing tricks with this ummah (Muslim community) to earn (the pleasure of) this world and watching for the moment of their neglectfulness to usurp their share of the wealth. As soon as it was possible for you to misappropriate the ummah's trust, you hastened to turn around and attack (them), and made a swift leap to snatch away whatever you could from their property meant for their widows and their orphans as a wolf snatches a wounded and helpless goat. Then, you happily loaded it off to the Hijaz without feeling guilty for having appropriated it. Allah's woe be to your ill-wishers; it was as though you were sending to your family what you had inherited from your father and mother.
Glory be to Allah! Do you not believe in the Day of Judgement, or do you not fear the exaction of account? O you who were counted by us among the men possessed of mind, how can you enjoy food and drink when you know that you are eating the unlawful and drinking the unlawful. You are purchasing slavemaids and wedding women with the money of the orphans, the poor, the believers and the participants in jihad to whom Allah had dedicated this money and through whom He had strengthened these cities. Fear Allah and return to these people their properties. If you do not do so and Allah grants me power over you I shall excuse myself before Allah about you and strike you with my sword with which I did not strike anyone but that he went to hell.
By Allah, even if Hasan and Husayn had done what you did there would have been no leniency with me for them and they could not have won their way with me till I had recovered from them the right and destroyed the wrong produced by their unjust action."
Allah's prayers be upon you O Master, O Commander of the Faithful, And may Allah guide us to always follow your Sunnah.
