The completion of pouring of concrete foundations of the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

After the completion of the dismantling of all the metal and wooden parts of the shrine's old grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), they were placed in special boxes to be transported to the maintenance workshops for the maintenance of the damaged parts, and the technical staffs from the department of the engineering maintenance and engineering projects departments at the holy shrine and supervising the implementation of these actions, have announced the completion of pouring all foundations, which are ready for the installation of the new grid.
The foundations that have been developed and implemented, have taken several factors into account, including: the grid's weights with all its metal and wooden parts and pieces, and also the pressure caused by the stampede of the visitors and other engineering matters. Also, hidden electric lines were put for the lighting the new grid, which will be established 3 cm higher then the holy shrine ground to not be affected by the ground's washing works.
These works were accompanied by removing the old alabaster surrounding the holy shrine in preparation for covering the floor with special kind of alabaster to replace it.
