The Supreme Religious Authority continues reminding those who have the power to follow the way Imam Ali (peace be upon him) managed the affairs of the country and the people..

The Supreme Religious Authority still reminding those who have power to follow the way Imam Ali (peace be upon him) managed the affairs of the country and the people, as the representative of the supreme religious authority; Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi has shown in the second sermon of Friday's prayer of the 8th Jumada Al-Thaniyah 1437 AH corresponding to the 18th March, 2016 held in the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), some of the commandments of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them) to a number of his governors, to guide them how to deal with people with justice and equity, in a clear sign to the decision-makers, stating:
Dear brothers and sisters, in this sermon we will read paragraphs of letters sent by the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them) to his governors, in which the Imam describes how some governors behave with the people, saying:
"Nothing remains from the governors apart from their mentioning, and they are mentioned only by their conduct and their impacts good or bad. And as for the funds, he has to take it so its benefit is for others, or for a calamity of life that befell on it and it became a heartbreak for the owners. And if you want to know the consequences of benevolence, abuse and loss of minds in this, look at the matters of those who passed away of the good and evil governors. Do you find any of them, who used to have a good conduct with people, whose governance was easy on them and whose soul was generous in giving the right, did this was detrimental to his governance or to his body's pleasures or to his good mention by people? Or do you find any of them, who used to have a bad conduct with people and whose governance was heavy on them, and this was for him a splendor in his power, such the shortage that he gained in this world and his hereafter? So, do not look at the money you collect but look at the good acts you collect and the good deeds you do, as the benevolent is helped."
The Imam (peace be upon him) wrote to Mohammad Ibn Abi Bakr when he appointed him as his governor of Egypt, saying:
"Remember that I have entrusted you with the command of the most important section of my army which is Egyptian. I have entrusted you what I entrusted you of people's matter, and is more right for you to be afraid from it on yourself, and to be warned for your religion, and if you could to not incur our Lord's wrath to gain the pleasure of any person. Remember that the Pleasure of Allah can substitute the pleasure of everybody else and it will be the most beneficial substitute for you but His Pleasure cannot be substituted by anything. Be harsh on the oppressor and soft for the people of goodness, make them closer and befriend them. and love for the people of your community what you love for yourself and your household, and hate for them what you hate for yourself and your household, as it enjoins the proof and beneficial for the community. Face the adversities for the sake of the right with bravery and strength, and face the adversities for the sake of the right and do not fear the blame by any slanderer. And advise the one who consults you, and make yourself an example for the close and far believers.."
