For covering it with rare stones, the preparation of the tomb ground of the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him)..

Within the installation works of the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), today the works of preparing the surrounding ground area of the holy tomb were launched, in preparation of covering it with precious and rare stones.
As after removing the wooden structure of the old grid with all the wooden and metal pieces on it, the ground's height surrounding the holy tomb was raised in a specific distance fit in with the installation works of the new grid on the one hand and commensurate with the works of covering the sanctuary's ground on the other hand, according to measurements that have been calculated accurately by the supervising committee, so the gaps caused by lifting the ground were filled with concrete cement in form of underpinning bases, in order to prepare the surface between the holy tomb and the wooden structure for the next stage that will be include covering it with precious stones, which was not present in the past, and this will be one of the new additions introduced by the committee supervising the manufacture of the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), then to be completed by conducting other works to make it a beautiful piece of art.
It is to mention that the new grid of the shrine of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was manufactured in the workshops of the crafts' factory belonging to the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine with high quality, durability and accuracy. In fact it is the first grid which is entirely manufactured in Iraq with Iraqi handicrafts-men. It is also characterized by the originality of its engravings and decorations in addition to the fact that it keeps the same overall structure and engravings of the old one, with few additions, upgrades and modifications, because of its uniqueness design comparing to the grids of the holy shrines in Iraq and in the Islamic world.
