The roof of the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) reaches its final stages..

With pure hearts expressing the longing to serve our Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) the work of installation of the pieces and parts of the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is going at a rising pace, and with the same vigor of the their manufacture. The workers on this great and blessed project, who have defied all those who doubted the abilities of the Iraqi minds, are investing all their energies and technical and physical potential for the completion of the installation of the holy grid, for the sake of the followers and lovers to be delighted on its inauguration of the birth anniversary of his father Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the 13th of Rajab, 1437 AH, with a strength and resolution inspired from the sanctity and spirituality of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), to be a beacon that will enlighten their way and a moral and spiritual factor that will encourage them to continue the installation of the metal and wooden pieces they have manufactured.
The works continue after the recent installation of the second part of the roof with all its details, to start the installation of the first part of the grid's roof, called "grid's crown".
The first part that takes the form of a circle quarter, is one of the upper parts of the grid, a decorative stripe separate it with the second part and the Quranic band. And it consists of 14 pieces of 128 cm length and 54 cm of width and a weight of about 4 kg.
It was made manually 100% by the most skilled goldsmiths, technicians and artists of the Iraqi staff from the factory of holy shrines' grid of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, as it made out of copper and gold plating and using modern methods that gave it elegance and beauty, and It was taken into account in this part several features that gave him strength and durability, blended with the decorative carvings that are the same as the existing in the current grid with some changes that the supervisory committee added. The thickness of each part is 1,25 mm out of copper in a modern way made its inscriptions like one-piece after passing through several operations that were concluded by painting it in gold to give it the golden color consistent with the rest of the gold parts of the grid.
These pieces went through several manufacturing operations in an artistic way in terms of plant inscriptions and the method used to decorate it, then through installation works with the same skills level, adopting the hidden way to install each piece with the wooden structure, making the 14 pieces of the roof looks like one piece.
