The installation works of the golden decorative frieze continue on the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

Among the parts and pieces which installation works are conducted currently on the shrine's new grid of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), are the pieces of the golden decorative frieze that surrounds the holy grid on all its four sides and is located between the two Quranic inscriptions bands.
The decorative frieze consists of 18 pieces of a weight of 9 kg each, shaped like (S), with a length of 128 cm, height 35 cm and a thickness of 1mm. All manufactured out of 22 carat gold, and these pieces are important parts of the holy grid that need accuracy in their installation.
Each piece of this frieze passed through many manufacturing operations, conducted brilliantly by the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) from the workers of the factory of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of shrines' grid, such as casting gold bars, then towed to be panels, then composted on special templates using giant machines to show 30 % of the features of the authentic Iraqi beautiful decorations and inscriptions of Baghdadi origins.
Then, the pieces are put in wooden molds, and then treated and processed manually to beautifully show the final features. The pieces are then cleaned and shined to make the gold shining, then pressed on molds shaped "S" to take the final desired shape, to be separated by the 14 inscriptions Turar, on which the infallible Imams' names (peace be upon them) have been emblazoned.
It is to mention that the decorative frieze's pieces were manufactured in the beginning from pure silver painted with gold, but the supervising committee on the grid's manufacture advised to manufacture these pieces out of pure gold, in line with the rest of the gold parts in the holy grid.
