The holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) commemorate the death anniversary of the venerated daughter of Bani Hashem, Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her)..

With great sadness and sorrow, and departing from the words of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him): "Revive our matter, May God have mercy on he who revive our matter." The unified procession of the servants of the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), including the employees and officials of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, was launched on Saturday afternoon the 15th of Rajab, 1437 AH corresponding to the 23rd Aprile 2016, to present the condolences to Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) for the sad tragedy of the death of the Great venerated Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).
The condolences procession was launched from the holy shrine of the Bearer of the Banner, the tutor of his sister; Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) passing by the area of the two holy shrines, chanting elegies about this sad tragedy and great loss, and upon their arrival at the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (Peace be upon him), the servants of the holy shrines welcomed by holding a funeral and lamentation Majlis, within which were recited many poems and elegies showing the sufferings of the Pure Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her).
On the other hand, the two holy shrines since yesterday, have received the condolences' processions coming from inside and outside Iraq to commemorate the Death's anniversary of the venerated daughter of Bani Taleb, the great Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), as well as tens of thousands of visitors who came to present their condolence to her brothers Imam Al-Hussayn and Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).
And for this occasion, the walls of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine were covered with black and grief and sorrow overshadowed the atmosphere. During the condolence program held at the guest-house, the preacher recalled the oppression and injustice that Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) faced, and he explained the size of her sacrifices especially with her brother Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) as she was the spokesman of this blessed uprising, and she was the one who has revealed the crimes, injustice and violation of Banu Umayyah and how they falsified the religion...
It is to mention that the holy shrines held throughout the year condolences Majlis, obituaries and symbolic funerals,on the death and martyrdom anniversaries of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
