In pictures: The interaction at the cultural festival of the commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in the India city of Bangalore..

It is no surprise that the number of the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in India is nearly one hundred million, according to some statistics. Thanks to the great school that was established by our Master Imam Zayn Al-'Abideen (peace be upon him), who is considered as the first conqueror of India through its broad approach by educating his slaves and servants the thought, teachings and ethics of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and none of them remained more than a year a slave, as he used to set them free from slavery to spread the true religion based on the wilaya. He (peace be upon him) has sent many of them to India. And up to this day, the children of the disciples of the Master of worshippers (peace be upon him) in India are still maintaining their love for the holy Household and are steadfirm in their belief of the wilaya of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) despite the difficult economic conditions that beset them.
In that sense, there was a clear and significant interaction during the annual cultural festival of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), which is set up and sponsored by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the Indian city of Bangalore. These events were an attraction and an important linking factor with the holy shrines in Iraq, as there were Majalis held for the celebration of the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the intellectual publications and the domes' flags of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn, Imam Al-Kadhem and Imam Al-Jawad, and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them), as well as the religion contest, whose winner will travel to Iraq at the charge of the holy shrine. And other activities that made the citizens of Bangalore feeling the atmosphere of the shrines' holiness and spirituality.
