The research sessions organized within the activities of the twelfth edition of the International Cultural Festival of the martyrdom spring were launched..

The research sessions of the twelfth edition of the International Cultural Festival of the martyrdom spring held under the slogan "Imam Al-Hussayn; The freedom lantern and the martyrdom beacon", were launched on Wednesday the 3rd Sha'ban 1437 AH corresponding to the 11th of May 2016.
The first research session was held in the hall of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) at the Al-Abbas's holy shrine, was attended by important researchers, academics and clerics from inside and outside Iraq, in addition to the two High Responsible and Secretaries-General of the holy shrines and a group of their officials.
Three research have been presented in this session, the first research was of Sayed Mohamed Reda Sharaf Eddine from the Republic of Lebanon, entitled: "The Jihad in Islam between the Hussayni idealism and the terrorist deformation."
The second research was of the Syrian researcher Sheikh Al-Hussayn Ahmed Karim, focused about "the military leadership strategies of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)" stating some military plans that he (peace be upon him) used in his war against Yazid's army, which was the defense without attack, a strategy based on the principles and foundations derived from the leadership personality of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), which is a part of the personality of his father and his grandfather (Allah's prayers be upon them).
This session was concluded by the research of the Iraqi researcher Professor Hadi Shandokh from the University of Dhi Qar, entitled: "Leadership strategies in the speech of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)."
During the session, there were many interventions, observations and inquiries by the attendees, which were answered by the researchers who tried to explain what needs to be clarified.
