The diversified pavilions of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine at Karbala International Book Fair..

Despite being the supervisor and the sponsor of the international cultural festival of martyrdom spring in its twelfth edition, the Al-Abbas's (p) hioly shrine has participated in all its events and activities, including Karbala international Book Fair, held under the slogan "A, B, C We all read". It has participated by several pavilions representing the Department of the intellectual and cultural affairs, the department of Islamuc and human knowledge, the department of religious affairs, the department of gifts and vows, the Al-Kafeel printing house for publication and distribution in addition to the special pavilion of the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad.
The Department of intellectual and cultural affairs has displayed more than 300 intellectual, cultural and ideological books titles for all categories and classes, with the participation of Al-'Ameed Center for research and studies by presenting its publications of the magazines and introductory folders for its projects.
The Department of the Islamic and Human Knowledge has exhibited a series of its publications issued by the heritage centers of Karbala, Hillah and Basra, as well as the presentation of copies of the Holy Quran of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in various sizes.
The Department of gifts and vows has displayed a numbers of gifts from the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) that were made and formed in a wonderful artistic ways to be accessible to the hands-visitors of the pavilion.
Al-Kafeel printing house for publication and distribution was also present by displaying models of what is printed in it, along with the techniques and methods using in the printing at the house.
Also, the department of religious affairs has displayed folders, brochures and leaflets highlighting some religious matters that pertain the life of the individual and the community. The pavilion also answers to any religious question or inquiry.
The set of pavilions of the Al-abbas's (p) holy shrine is completed by the pavilion of the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad through the presentation of documentary films showing the victories of the Squad in addition to the distribution of Squad introductory folders showing its achievement since its inception. The pavilion was supported by displayed pictures that illustrate the Squad work.
It is to mention that Karbala International Book Fair is one of the activities of the International Cultural Festival of Martyrdom Sping set up and funded fully by the two General Secretariats of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) since it was founded eleven years ago to celebrate the grandson of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and his holy Household); Imam Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them). The book fair is set up in the area between the two holy shrines until the 14th May, 2016.
