The closing ceremony of the twelfth edition of the international cultural festival of the martyrdom spring..

At the holy shrine of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and after four days of diverse cultural and intellectual activities, the international cultural festival of the martyrdom spring in its twelfth edition, held and sponsored by the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) under the slogan: "Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) the freedom latern and the martyrdom beacon", was concluded this Friday afternoon the 5th of Sha'ban 1437 AH corresponding to the 13th May 2016.
The closing ceremony began with the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran and the word of the two General Secretariats of the holy shrines delivered by the High Responsible of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, in which he sated: "In this great holy month of Sha'ban and since twelve years, the two holy shrines organize this festival of the martyrdom spring, to celebrate the happy occasion of the auspicious birth anniversaries of three of the leaders of humanity, the heirs of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and the heirs of Our Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and his holy Household) Al-Hussayn, Ali ibn Al-Hussayn Zayn Al-'Abidin, the Master of the order and the Advent the awaited Mahdi and the two moons Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas and Ali Al-Akbar (Allah's prayers be upon them all), an occasion for us to meet you all during this festival..."
Followed by the word of the delegations coming from Asia, delivered on their behalf by Prof. Dr. Dimitry Karakashev professor of philosophy at Moscow University, who said: "This is the sixth time that I have the honor to visit Iraq and the holy city of Karbala, the freedom perfume, the dignity hymn and the glory heyday. And I was honored five times to participate in the march of the Ziyarat of Arba'een from the south of Iraq, specifically from the province of Basra and Nasiriyah to Karbala, and during the march I saw the light of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his victory in the eyes of Iraqis, the victory of reform over corruption, the faith on infidelity, love over hatred and the victory of the oppressed over the oppressors."
Then, the Bahraini poet Hussain Abed delivered two poems about Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).
Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Ayman Abd Al-Kahleq has delivered a word on behalf of the delegations coming from Africa and Europe, in which he stated: "The cause of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) is not an issue of doctrine or sect but it is the cause of the whole humanity. Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) did not sacrifice himself, his family and friends for the sake of any worldly power or personal interests, but he rose for the sake of the same cause as his brother, father and grandfather (Allah's prayers eb upon them all) installing the divine justice in this world..."
Religious stanzas [tawasheeh] were then chanted by a group of Munshid from northern Iraq in Kurdish language, and by the Radood Bilal Kaiwani and Hemin benjwini. The ceremony was concluded by paying tribute to those who have contributed and participated in the success of the festival.
